I completely agree with your article. This year I also saw little decorations to remind one of the birth of Christ. Therefore, I put up only a simple, lighted manger scene with a star above. No other lights around the yard. Amidst all the other neighborhood decorations, it is a stark reminder of what happened 2000 years ago that changed the world.

Christians have the power to move the season back to the original intent. I just think the collective will is missing.
