The science is not the problem. Norwegian scientists started tagging bluefin tuna 50 years ago. The migration pattern of the Eastern European stock was then well known, and that stock has been in trouble for decades. The problem is that nothing is done! The sad state of the bluefin tuna stocks is (unfortunately) yesterdays news but no one seems to have the authority to deal with the over fishing. It may be too late...
