Knicks' Reliables, Expendables
in response to reader comment: Rebuilding Plan

Listen Knick fans, part of what Isiah says about us is true. I keep hearing how we could have had this person or that i.e. Amare Stoudemire, Ron Artest, and the two draft picks given up for Eddy Curry. The fact is that had we gotten those players our fans would have jumped down their throats as soon as they started to make rookie mistakes. By their third year they would have been disgruntled, frustrated, and downright tired of our unsupportive fan base. So what did Isiah try to do? Well first he tried to get us into the playoffs quickly i.e. Nazr Muhammed, Stephon Marbury and others. Well when that didnt work he did what he should have done from the start, go after young talent. Now that is where he failed because he didnt get enough of the right pieces. This team does not have to be blown up, it just needs perimeter players, just one or two, that know how to take over games. Especially when there are two big men than command double teams. Lastly for all of you who keep talking about giving up two first round picks for Curry, tell me, how are Noah and Thomas doing so far for the Bulls?
