School Report Cards Spell Closings

While articles like these can be a help in determining where parents might be able to place there children for a better education, it does almost nothing for those parents who have children and teens that are disABLED, and who would like a better education for them as well. How about those children and teens who get very good or even excellent grades but whose schools don't meet their needs, but can not transfer to another district because the school they wish to transfer to is not in their district?

Talk about the 'no child left behind' theory, these types of cases seem to be more of a 'stay where you are and hope for the best' situation, that does nothing to help these children in the long run. These children and teens have so much to offer those around them (I've had the pleasure to meet some of them, who've turned out to be some of the nicest and most kindest souls in this world, and it's a shame how they're just about invisible when it comes to addressing these issues.) Almost everyone is thinking and talking about better grades and better schools and while that's a good thing, I'd personally love to see and hear about what's being done to help the above mentioned sector of society as well.
