Bush's Full Monty

This entire Bush process smacks too much of socialism to me. It makes great politics to the uninformed and feel good public. This process will only mark the beginning of a much darker chapter in american economic history.

Your article failed to mention the part played by Ben Bernake of the Federal Reserve. We are entering a much higher inflationary environment and he is cutting rates to appease Mr. Bush and his feel good crowd when in fact he should be raising rates. The rest of the American public, especially the seniors, will suffer higher prices for a long time to come (been to a grocery store lately?) and they will have their revenge at the polls next year. Good politics do not always make for good policy. I for one highly resent having my hard earned dollars being used to give a subsidy to greedy fools. Most people probably could have qualified for a lower long term rate but that front end 2% was too good to pass on. Who does Mr. Bush think was going to give these fools a free ride? They it good at the start and were supposed to pay for the "party" after attending. Anyone who goes to a real estate closing without the services of an attorney deserves what they get.

I learned many years ago mama said there ain't no free lunch and Bush and his cohorts are trying to create a free lunch to satisfy the wants of greedy people whose eyes were bigger than their wallets at everyone else's expense.

I say foreclose and do it dam fast, take no prisoners and this entire sad, SELF CREATED chapter shall too come to pass.
