Report of Attack Rattles Princeton

Submitted by Steve in Princeton, Dec 17, 2007 14:49

Reading about this incident, I have to believe that Mr. Nava was attacked randomly or due to other factors -- not for his political views. I am very familiar with the campus and its students and can't imagine politics leading to an attack of this kind. Unless a motive can be corroborated in any way, this should be thought of as an unfortunate coincidence.

Meanwhile, "Anonymous" has never been to Princeton and his comment should be ignored. Princeton is in a small suburban town and is exceedingly safe. Though campus escorts are available, female students do not use them as it is safe to walk on campus and in town alone at night. The town of Princeton has not had so much as an armed home invasion in at least seven years.

If you want to send your kids to the SAFEST Ivy League school, Princeton is the best option. Dartmouth is also quite safe.
