I loved the review. I was so taken with the exquisite writing in the book, but failed to recognize the relevance of the Western vs Religious attire. Thank you to Pia Catton for pointing this important factor out, especially when the top of our news stories relates the importance of dress in Islamic countries where women are unjustly beaten for not following strict dress codes.
