Not that I thought little of him before, but the fact that Mr. Murdoch recognises the best journalism talent pool in the Big Apple raises my estimation of the man. If he is able to descry objective and fun media guys and gals in his competition, that says a great deal about the manner of the personal stamp he will put on the WSJ.
