Giuliani is a balogna bender. The idea that he can "deal most effectively with Islamic terrorism," is laughable. He was mayor of the city that got hit by a surprise attack. He is the mayor who did nothing to make the city safer after the first attack on the World Trade Center, and the same guy who put all the emergency communications in that very same WTC (doesn't matter he had been warned not to do so by the director of Port Authority), which came back to bite him, and all those first responders who lost their lives. He did nothing to prevent the attack, and did nothing after the attack accept posture during a lot of photo ops while wearing a hard hat. The firemen and many New Yorkers can't stand him. The only reason he has any favor with Republicans around the rest of the nation is because he has name and face recognition. It's no wonder the Republicans like to run actors for office -- no qualifications neccesary, just familiarity. More said at Rudolph Giuliani, A "Legend In His Own Mind"
