Why is a short hop from North Africa to Europe and NATO an "American" problem? Why is it that when anything of this nature happens in Europe, it is STILL -- that is, about 60 years after the end of the Second World War -- an "American" problem. It's high time Europe stepped up to the plate for its own defense (and footed the bill that comes with it). Let Europe form its own military alliance in place of NATO. Once they see that coming, they'll change their ultra-liberal policies on defense, immigration, families....children (you get the picture).
