History of humanity seems to invoke mankind's need for a higher power...However, there are always some who differ. They should and do have my respect, too--because God, in my view, renders us free on to make such decision...

I also enjoy seeing religious displays--of joy and passion--of other faiths.. I do not appreciate such being removed from my vision or that of other friends and neighbors. To me--that is disrespectful. And, to be disrespectful of some, is to be disrespectful of all.

It is similarly disrespectful to painfully and repeatedly complain that others "disrespect" a prophet of one sect, by innocently naming a beloved child's toy eponymously...Rendering one religious community superior to others defeats the purpose of "freedom to worship". (However, we must be reminded that not all nations respect and practice liberty...)

Governor Romney obviously deems his recent speech of import to his own candidacy to achieve the Office of President of the United States. He should be free to make such assertion.
