First of all you don't know what really happened? If he had "raped" a girl he would be in jail for a very long time. Yes he was intoxicated and should of left the girls room when asked the first time. He's made mistakes but what college student, young adult or everyone of us hasn't? Geez give him a break.He's picked himself up and has proved that he can be a leader and inspiration to his team, his college and the state of Hawaii. The WAC has never got respect anyway and I feel that this should change. I think every team should have the opportunity to play so called "better teams" outside their conference. Isn't that the way you build the program by being exposed to teams that perform better? Every ranked team this season was beat by a team lower ranked or not ranked at all. So what does that say? All in all it doesn't matter because there's too much politics going on and to be honest winning the Heisman is great recognition but doesn't garauntee future successful. We are proud of him and what he has done for our state and we know that if the Heisman stands for what the Heisman should stand for, they will pick the right candidate.
