Since Infidel was published I have been using Google to collect all of the news generated by Ayaan Hirsi Ali, and it is extensive. Her attitude towards Islam is the lone light in a great self-imposed darkness since this war of civilizations was renewed by the 9-11 attack on the US. But this is not a war that can be won in any conventional sense. However recent battles have made it a clear fact that there is only one solution, which is to force a confrontation that can only be resolved by Islam and the rest of the world agreeing to disagree and on that basis divide and disengage from one another. Neither side can win, and it is clear those in the middle in the "no-man's land of immigrant ghettoes, will only thrive if they return home to an Islamic country and culture. Tolerance only works when both side are prepared to be equally accepting of the other. Recent events have established as fact the Islamic world in incapable of tolerance presently, so what other solution than disengagement is possible????
