Secrets Case Eyes Jurors' Religion

Submitted by Meredith Springer, Dec 5, 2007 16:35

I am descended from a (non-Jewish) German who settled in 1680 in what is now Rhode Island. The surname 'Springer' is frequently Jewish (witness Jerry, but there are others more distinguished with the name). I am an atheist. Does this mean that it is legimitate to bump me from juries in the Bible Belt?
