A Bitter Lesson

I'm not exactly what one would call a devout follower of my faith, so I personally don't get wrapped up too much when it comes to religious controversy, but to say that the situation in Sudan was purely political is not only asinine, but ignorant. The government of Sudan has openly waged war on it's own religious minorities, and this is being carried out largely by the Arab population, and entirely by Muslims. The "Teddy Bear Intifada" is being carried out in order to allow the Sudanese Sharia run gov't to build a soapbox on which to stand and scream of western cultural insensitivity, which allows them to divert attention from the genocide that they are perpetrating in the south of the country, and to create an aversion in western society to criticizing militant Islam, lest those criticizer's become (ahem) "culturally insensitive" in criticizing a religion that when interpreted as it is written, gives the go ahead for the general mayhem and barbarity that is seen in countries like Pakistan, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, ect. This is a religious system that has been criticized by leaders as prodigious as Winston Churchill to name one off the top of my head-and rightly so. Islam and Sharia law have no place in the modern world. That system is a cult that preaches dominance and slavery over anyone who is not Muslim, and is a barbaric system towards women and anyone of another creed or religion. The recent outrage in Sudan is not just a political ploy, but a ploy to create an unsureness and fear in the west, of criticizing Islam, the better to further the long term Islamic goal of subversion and dominance in the attempt to regain lost "Islamic" land and establish the dreamed about "World Caliphate".
