What is the definition on insanity?? Doing the same thing over and over again-- expecting a different result.
SOoo , if unions get ahold of 'Charter" schools , union wages and practices and other costs will soar. If we set a short day, a short calender, an impossible process of getting rid of poor teachers, etal ,where will we get a different result.
Can we have an 8 1/2 (now 7)hr school day, a 220 day year (now 180), will we have uniforms and summer programs and more testing . NOoo we will not , we will have the sameo , sameo and the same result.
Note how already Ms Weingarten reversed herself on the 'affordable' housing for teachers in NYC area unless prevailing wages are paid (read UNION). The needs and wants of the dues payers supersede the education of children.
