The middle class like me will feel alot of pain. I make $102,000.00 and live in California. I pay my mortgage on time. I don't have any late payments. But living expensives and house payments in California are high. Most of my check goes to the house. Now you will take my writeoffs away. This AMT will cause more foreclosers for the middle class. The economy will hurt more. People in places like California will hurt the most. If I lived in my home town of Danville, VA where I grew up, $100,000.00 would go along way. I would be well off and I could handle the AMT. But here in California, its almost impossible. The American dream is fading away for the middle class.
