As the owner of a stable full of my own horses ,Draft Horses to be exact,its a shame the same handful of the same names of extremists have nothing better to do than talk about a issue they have no knowledge about.As the owner of a NYC stable with over 20 Draft horses in my care,i feel i am a excellent source to give the facts about our carriage horses.These Phony fanatics have really helped our industry ,as the regular general public is getting tired of the noise they hear from a small group of people who insist carriage horses are mistreated no matter what the aspca or health dept can claim,by their inspection reports.The NYC Mounted Police Horses use the very same streets the carriage horses do,they are stabled in the exact midtown area,the carriage horses are,they seem to discriminate that 1 horse is better than another which shows how biased they are towards the regular working person who happens to earn their living with their horse.We have a excellent relationship with the NYC Mounted Police,and they seem to never have a issue with the carriage horses living in the city.
