Rick Warren's invitation to Clinton mirrors Jesus' sitting and eating with prostitues and tax collectors. As a christian and doer of the gospel of Jesus Christ, I know that Rick Warren is perhaps the most Christ-like of the national leaders of my faith. This act was noble and right. What I cant agree with is the consequences of his act, which is the possible misinterpretation of evangelicals to believe that Rick Warren is endorsing Hilary Clinton.

After thinking through it a few minutes, I heard my spirit say "Let the dead bury the dead". As a chistian, we are to follow Jesus example by bringing the kingdom of God to Earth like "yeast in a bread", not by throwing around our political clout to cause change. Moral issues are to be fought by spiritual means....Jesus never got involved politically...he was always about his father's business. I believe Rick is Right on this one.
