Interesting article. But, curious: when did Danny Ainge say that he wanted to rebuild into "a young and athletic team?" And then, he performed an "about-face"?

My recollection is that he said the same things from day one: need to acquire more assets (young players); wish to trade for veteran talent; will not trade the young players for just "any veteran"; not interested in trading Paul Pierce.

It can be debated if he wavered in action from those declarations. But he said what he said.
