We need to go to a flat tax- either the Fair Tax or sales tax. The country could save billions of dollars by getting rid of IRS. Everyone in US would pay taxes- illegal aliens, drug dealers, and all others who are not currently paying. You would pay at the cash register, so no one would have to submit their private information to the government, thus increasing your right to privacy. It would take power out of DC and give some back to the people. DC couldn't write tax code benifiting one group over the other. Government coouldn't use IRS to go after anyone. It is a win-win for all Americans except power hungry politicians.
