Sue Raney is my favorite singer, and has been since I heard her for the first time about two years ago. The messages she conveys through song are strong, and the delivery transcends her awesome technique. They touch my heart and leave me wanting more.

The only reason she is virtually unknown in the NY region is she is not heard in the NY region. I've sent a few Sue Raney CD's to WBGO and to Jonathan Schwartz, but they got a minimum of air play at best. One outlet which might have done the job, WNEW AM, was replaced by Bloomberg radio, owned by a mayor of the same name.

Where must you go, if you live here, to experience Sue Raney, or maybe just the kind of music she sings so well?
