They were PARDONED which means they are no longer criminals and at the time they were pardoned, Hillary wasn't running for president. Since they were pardoned, they are also free to exercise their constitutional rights — which include donating to the candidate of their choice. If you ask me, all contributions should be outlawed and elections should be publically funded so each candidate has the same amount of money and same chance along with not coming in to office owing favors to the bribers— er contributors. We'd see who had money management skills and something to say because the mud slinging would be unaffordable! It would cut down on the length of the campaigns if they had less money too!
