I don't get where the information relating to the Fascist past of the front national comes from. They most definitely have been Conservatives and nationalists for as long as one can remember, but only poor judgement would make the sum of those two epithetes equate to fascism.

I can't understand how this party for wich I don't have any particular sympathy can always be labelled with the most simplistic terms, especially some that are always negatively connotated.

The argument you make if applied to , let's say the socialist party would be to label them as totalitarian because they are composed of people having left wing (dare I say communist) ideas, and religious fanatics (because a large part of the french curia is associated with it's ideals of giving to the poor).
