After spending half a billion dollars in salaries, luxury taxes, and punitive damages, Isiah The GM has assembled a structurally-flawed, mismatched, hodgepodge of 12 underachieving, incompatible pieces. After four years on the job, there's still NO point guard, NO shot blocker, NO 3-point shooter, and NO leader. Lee and Balkman, maybe the roster's only bright spots, are almost mirror-images of each other with the same weaknesses, meaning they can't play together. And Zach Randolph has already stunted the development of Eddy Curry, The GM's so-called franchise player last season.

Isiah The Coach has wasted minutes on injured or undeserving players, has yet to settle on a starting lineup or rotation, and has lost the respect of everyone in the locker room. Wasting minutes on Malik Rose and Jared Jeffries, two players just waiting for a buyout, while Wilson Chandler rots on the bench was inexcusable. And his botched attempt to show Marbury "tough love" came several years too late.

Isiah The GM and Isiah The Coach are trying to get each other fired. But maybe they have "dirt" on each other. So the status remains quo at MSG, the Mecca of Mediocrity.
