This is the sanest thing I've heard in 3 weeks. I've been asking myself this same question. The kid has natural ability, can shoot the basketball. Marbury , Crawford and Richardson have had one of the worst collective shootng percentages in the league the last few years. With all the hoopla on Randolph, I always wondered who he and Curry were going to pass the ball to that could hit a shot. This is why I was livid they let Nichols go. Where do you find a 6-8 forward that can shoot like him?. That is the one skill in this league that ensures a 10 year career, other than being 7 feet. Chandler is also not caught up in the pressure of playing in New York, he just wants minutes. Jared Jeffries is worthless, so what do they have to lose?. Look at how his other rookies have done when he gave them minutes?. Richardson is just not getting the job done, I agree this is the big story of the season so far. Knick fans have had their fill of overpaid, washed up, oft-injured veterans in the last 15 years, no one would blink if Chandler saw 15 to 20 minutes per game. Isiah's misguided loyalties are going to be his undoing.
