I think one of Thomas' drafting strengths is that he recognizes great potential. The downside of this potential is that the players need development time and I think this is the issue with Chandler. I think the complication this season is that after 10 games we have had Balkman injured, healthy and injured again in the course of 10 games. This alone causes 2 or 3 changes of direction in a very short period of time. Jeffries also looked to be in the picture until his injury.

In short, what we need is some consistency and with all of our early injuries we haven't been able to stick anyone in the position and allow things to gel. Personally I would give Jeffries a few games to show what his hard working summer did for him and then if Balkman and Q aren't 100% I would try Chandler and live with some growing pains.
