The American Electorate has a time horizon measured in days. Former President Clinton's disgraceful pardon spree has long since passed from the Public's minds, replaced by the usual anxieties of the personal cost displacements and cost deferrals associated with mere living in the Societies comprehended within the American Polity. He is widely regarded as a lovable rogue, our great scamp who amused us all with his antics and who twisted the tails of those gray-visaged bigots, who preach that morality matters in a healthy society. Senator Clinton is the leading Candidate of the Party Of Power. The Party Of Liberty has yet to discover a Candidate. It is axiomatic that, in politics, you cannot beat Somebody with Nobody. That fresh-faced former "Goldwater Girl" is determined to become The Wicked Step-Mother Of Us All. I believe that she'll make it.
