You finally gave us something we want to hear. Us Nets fans have been in a bad position, Hollinger, ever since that ridiculous playoff run in Vince's first season gave way to the 5 game tramping by the Heat. Basically, NJ hasn't done anything really impressive, against the odds, justifying irrational belief since then. But we comfort ourselves with the facts that the East is still as weak as it ever was, Vince and RJ still have as much potential as we thought they did, and the bigs and bench show signs. If you are the diehard I am, you won't stop believing until they lose to a mediocre Cavaliers in 6, or Boston whenever. So thanks for saying it well.

The Nets are still the team with the most interesting bunch of guys in the East (except Boston, of course), and the team with the best potential for future greatness (I've believed this in my heart since 1999).
