I strongly fee that care should be taken in case of high technology transfers and sale of latest arms. Many countries can improve upon once they have the technology either themselves or with outside expertise.

In case of U.S even though not openly confirmed but known by most people initially the Taliban were supported to fight the Russians. Then Saddam was supported against Iran etc. We see that eventually they turned against their supporter.

I strongly feel that care should be taken and it will not eventually turn against the Americans. Even though the rulers support U.S., the local people are against the West.

I think U.S. should take care in these matters and have contingency plan just in case. U.S. should have ties with friendly countries or non aggressive countries like India.
