As the wife of a retired policeman, I want to send Jay Akasie a great big Thank You for this wonderful article ...... so well written and so very true. When will the public admit that the work of a policeman is a very dangerous one indeed and they do not need the criticism of the likes of Mr. Sharpton. They need the support and encouragement of the citizens that they are being paid to protect. Keep up the great work, Jay. We need more articles like this one.
