A Strong Showing for Contemporary

What do you mean - who knew? every other story I've read on this auction has focused on Warhol's Elizabeth Taylor - put up for sale by Hugh Grant. A question it seems is whether Grant's sale constitutes a market transgression in the sense that his purchase of the Warhol at $15 million in 2001 and subsequent sale at Christie's last night for $23.7 is clearly a 'quick buck'. This should be set against the backdrop of a credit crunch, liquidity crisis and volatility in global markets...... now's the time to cash in the Warhol's?
