Does Traffic-Tax Plan Affect Ticketing Policy?

Submitted by Clean House-stop illegal parking, No Congestion Taxing, Nov 10, 2007 00:38

"Rather than imposing a regressive tax that hurts the middle class, we should be enforcing existing laws,"

Councilman Weprin is totally correct, and NYC can't afford to lose more more from illegal permit parking.

NYC is flooded everyday with many thousands of government sector commuters who love coming into Manhattan to park illegally for free. Virtually all city agencies, the NYPD and Bloomberg have very consciously neglected to enforce the laws regarding parking permits for years and everyone knows it;. But let's face the facts, this is a conspiracy to break laws on a mass scale that cannot be tolerated and NYC simply can't afford it - businesses have a difficult time, air quality is worsened; hey, New York life just sucks when existing permit parking laws are consciously not enforced.
