Your editorial in unconscionable. There is little doubt that New Jersey's rejection of this measure is largely a reaction not to the pocketbook consequences but to the very large Catholic population there. I see little difference in Muslim fanaticism and Catholic fanaticism over this issue. In both cases, there is indifference to the living who may be suffering. You are making a medical judgment that you are unqualified to make.
