Danny isn't quite right - JFK is one of Delta's FIVE hubs - and our airport is its major world gateway. While JFK is Jet Blue's major hub it is using JFK to fly passengers within NY state and New England (a shuttle service) - not an ideal use of this airports super long runways. Hard decisions need to be made and the Sun is on the right track in every respect. All small planes should be banned from the key windows (anything smaller than a 737). Flights to destinations within a five hundred mile radius should also be prohibited - sorry Jet Blue. Corporate jets should be removed from JFK all together - the Port Authority maintains Teterboro for that purpose (and I am sure there are others that could be adapted to provide space). Cargo traffic should be moved to off hours exclusively.
