Everything you got on Cashman is almost right on the money but remember that some of the senior citizen's pick (Kevin Brown, Tony Womack & etc) had some type of input form George and unfortunately we can not grade his performance. I'm happy of what's going on right now with youth and what is the way the Yankees should keep it for the most part. Speaking of youth, the Yankees should go after Florida Marlins Third Baseman Miguel Cabrera before the Red Sox gets hold of him. He is 24 years old and can hit for average, has homerun power and he is a clutch hitter as well. This year he got over a 100 RBI with a sorry Marlins team. Can we imaging what he can do in a Yankee lineup? Wow!!! The best of all about Miguel Cabrera is that he still cheap. This is really something for the Yankees to think about it before anyone else does. There were report on ESPN that the Yankees might be interested on Joe Crede from the White Sox and who just came up of major injury season and the Yankees in my opinion should really walk away from it. Let's remember Carl Pavano. This team needs to get younger and healthy asap. Almost everything is looking good so far and adding Miguel Cabrera to the mix would not be bad at all. I know he is not a free agent yet but we can probably send a few minor league spares with a few millions in cash and that can possibly do it. Biggest Yankee Fan in Texas.
