Thank you for your article. I am too concerned when individuals enter into such a covenant with the Mormon Church. I have been investigating the church for about 6 months. Much doubt has been raised as to why so many prophets and presidents of the church considered African Americans to be inferior. People really need to spend the time and dig into the real history of the Mormon Church. What the church really represent. It may work for Gladys Knight because she is too busy to search for the truth. The very foundation of the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is very questionable. Don't get me wrong, there are many good people that are Mormon but one wonders if they know all that their religion entails. Also, many principals in regards to family, community etc is great and encouraging. Again, do your homework you will be surprised.
