Columbia Defends Professor In Noose Incident, After Delay

Submitted by CU Alum, Oct 23, 2007 17:19

The article fails to distinguish between Teachers College and Columbia University, which are legally separate entities. Prof. Constantine is on the faculty of TC, not CU, and handling the noose incident -- including making statements about the professor -- is TC's role. The Sun likes to find fault with the university, but it should recognize that Columbia's administration does not run TC or Barnard and should not fault it for what those institutions do.
