Winning the Catholic Vote

Submitted by Dennis Stransky, Oct 23, 2007 08:23

Catholic Democrat is oxymoron.

There are at least five hard line teachings of the Catholic Church that are also part of the Democratic platform.

Abortion, contraception, fetal stem-cell research, homosexuality, and euthanasia. There has never been an ordinary magistarium or extraordinary magistarium teaching that allows any of these under any circumstances. The "catholics" who also claim to be Democrats are Catholic in name only.
