The recognition of Genocide is about morality, ethics and humanity. It's about preventing future genocides. Execution, or denial of Genocide, in any form, at any time, is unacceptable, no matter who engages in it.

If anyone thinks Turkey will take action because of the House resolution, otherwise would not, is at the very least naďve. Today there are twenty-eight countries have passed a similar resolution and in every case Turkey has threatened and blackmailed. The facts on the ground show that the relations are the same, or have improved. There is no reason to believe that in our case things will be any different. Turkey needs us more than we need them. One way, or the other Turkey's best interests are served by being our "ally". We should not be cowered and take a cover after every bluff. As a nation, have we no decency to state the truth and move on? A question remains to be seen.
