MLB Wants China, but China May Not Want MLB

Submitted by Scott Williams, Oct 19, 2007 22:02

Kids like baseball, they just need to start learning and playing the game at the youth levels, the upcoming Olympics brings lots of opportunity for getting involved as grass roots level as well as doing some exhibition games, getting Chinese connected with star players, and most of all China needs to get some star up and coming Chinese players in the farm systems, in the Spring Training camps. Look at the reaction in Taiwan to Wang (pitcher of Yankees), he has a tremendous following, and this is just Taiwan. I am the Operations Director for DHL for all of China, my office is in Beijing. I would appreciate if the MLB would contact me, I would like to get involved in helping build MLB presence in China. Scott Scottwilliams0704@yahoo.com
