It is in black and white for the world to see.

Perhaps we have not been reading the Constitution since 1913, when the Federal Reserve (A private central bank, supported by member private banks) was created? It is time to open up the Constitution again. The Federal Reserve is not part of the Legislative Branch, which is elected by the people. WE THE PEOPLE are supposed to be electing the officials who coin money and regulate it... but, the Federal Reserve officials are appointed by the President. Hmm, something is not right here. The other thing at play... the Federal Reserve, a private bank, is counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States. Ron Paul is on to something here, isn't he?

Article 1 - The Legislative Branch
Section 8 - Powers of Congress

To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;

To provide for the Punishment of counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States;

Article 1 - The Legislative Branch

Section 10 - Powers Prohibited of States
No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility.
