Dear Mr. Thomas, et al.:

I urge you and the readers to view the commentary in today's Wall Street Journal by the Prime Minister of Turkey--although he is understandably biased--as to the historical accusation of "genocide", regarding the Armenians during WWI.

Hatred festers--when so permitted, and when generations pass without the parties coming to an understanding--the disease can become epidemic. The United States Congress, in my view, made a political statement against President Bush--with little if no consideration given to the Iraqi conflict, terrorism, and the psychological effects upon the different ethnic groups involved. The "resolution" was an utter disgrace at this time.

We must all try to recognize the horror of 1915, yet discontinue any and all animosity between and among various populations. We cannot permit hatred to flourish in a world where total destruction is highly plausible.
