Make Torre A Manager Emeritus

Another fine piece by Tim Marchman, but I think the Yankee management has already blown it. Whether you're a fan of the team or not, it's impossible to ignore Torre's achievements on and off the field. There's a compelling argument, however, that the Torre era is over, and it's time for a new manager to take over. That Torre's status hasn't yet been determined is a disgrace; leaving him (and his ticket-buying, YES-watching fans) dangling is cruel and once again undermines the mythical notion of "Yankees class."
