Lebanese Malaise

Unfortunately i have to agree with Mr. Kazimi. Lebanon is better off putting up with more deadlock and depression rather than falling into the cruel and devastating consequences of war.

We have worked for 17 years now to rebuild our country. We have endured Syrian Hegemony and Israeli aggression, political bickering, terrorist bombings and warfare and still we have managed to stay resilient and dare to live freely in prosperity. Without war we have witnessed record tourist numbers, positive growth, increased foreign investment and warm relations with the international community.

The last thing Lebanon needs is another war. Its a shame our politicians havent learnt from the cruel past and to Lebanons disadvantage we are stuck in the middle of an ever increasing regional and international quest for power and hegemony.
