May John Bolton's memorable first words as UN Ambassador also serve as his parting shot.

For those who don't understand the concept, the fallacy of misplaced concreteness has to do with blaming things for the hurt they "cause", as when the table is "bad table" when your two-year-old bumps his head on it! At a deeper level it is also about idolatry e.g.praising the sun for its life-supporting rays!

And that's what the American Senate has done; they've put the blame on Bolton which properly should be placed on the whole UN Institution. They've scapegoated him for the fact that the UN is an anti-American parasite functioning unchecked within the host body. And they've displaced their guilt for the morass they originally supported in Iraq by extirpating anything and anybody who supported the President, except they themselves!

Hasta la vista, John. You were great while you lasted!
