This is a great proposal for the area EAST OF LENOX AVE. It need not go all the way to 8th Avenue, because that would totally upset the character and destroy light and views for SEVERAL condos already built or in development near 125th st. That area already has changed sufficiently with all the development that's happened. DO NOT TRY TO CHANGE THIS AREA INTO THE EQUIVALENT OF ATLANTIC STATION in Atlanta! But the East side really needs a catalyst to development, although 29 stories is simply too much. 20 stories is more than enough in that neighborhood. We don't need canyonization and the elimination of even more light than there is now. And we need to create JOB GUARANTEES FOR THE RESIDENTS WHO HAVE LIVED IN THE AREA FOR MORE THAN A DECADE, SO THAT RACISM ISN'T ALLOWED TO DICTATE WHO BENEFITS. Capiche?
