Although I never thought the roadmap was a particularly good idea, at least it provided some important limits to the negotiating process. Sadly, Secretary Rice wants to ignore it. What kind of protection for Israel does she propose instead? America's word? Remember, it gave us the roadmap in the first place, and now she wants us to act as if it never existed. Is it any wonder that other countries don't trust America's word? Would you?
