I remember that after 9/11, politicians were eager to protect the minority Muslims from vigilantes. This I agree with. Why then aren't Christians and other minorities in Islamic countries given the same protection? I have received many reports of Christians suffering for leading Muslims to Christ but no Christian group that I'm aware of attacks non-Christian groups when a Christian forsakes his or her beliefs. I can only conclude that these radicals are no better than school bullies. Like school bullies, only superior force will stop them and cause them to be compliant with societal norms. My hope is that non-Muslims will stop giving tacit support to those religious bullies and stand with those who they've victimized.
