Le Time Capsule

I had a charge account at Le Valois which my mother established for me when I was at Princeton. She was afraid that her being in San Francisco and me in New Jersey would lead to my death from starvation hence my carte blanche at a great French restaurant somewhat like Le Veau d'Or. I am looking forward to re-visiting the Golde Calf as early as next week. One thing I miss a lot is the Seafood Crepe Farcie. Cote Basque is still around in its latest incarnation as LCB. Had a very good Beef Bourguinon there last month.
